parley keeps talking about her
birthday next month
how can this be?
didn't i just recently look
like the above picture?
and now i wax
nostalgic...
about this time 3 years ago
i was anxiously awaiting
the arrival
of my second child
large and in charge.
i was nervous
because i intended to have
a drug-free birth.
my first birthing experience
was as undrug-free as you can get
pitocin, epidural
and not what i wanted.
and so came
hypnobabies
and my bubble of peace.
(the bubble of peace can get you through anything)
and she soon came.
which made all my largeness worth it
i can't wait to
celebrate her birth.
