so named because
Tuck discovered she has
red, luscious lips.
she's one of a tribe of six goldies
that have recently entered our lives
from a good neighbor.
all for free.
oh, how i like that price.
i think this buys me a few more years
before my kids (and hubby) beg me
for a dog.
then again, maybe not.
but for now,
good time has been spent
watching.
laughing.
and overall enjoying these
fish.
did you know fish can catch their food
falling "through the air"?
and did you know they will all
HIDE
when a certain two-almost-three year old
taps enthusiastically on the glass?
it's true.
she's terrifying.
i hope they survive.

Remember Darla from Finding Nemo? Yah, whenever I hear of a little girl tapping on a fish tank now, that's who I think of.
mrs. cheeseball-
that's exactly who my daughter is. (sigh) here's hoping she'll become the calm, compassionate child i know(?)she is.
Stick with fish. Once you get two (large, and obnoxious) dogs...well your life will never be the same. Let's just say they take up a little more time then Luscious.
P.S. Now that you've filled me in on the world of cloth diapering, I am wondering how do you keep your diapers clean? Any tricks?
Fish are easy. Except when you have to clean the tank. That is Greg's job. Madi asked if we could get a cat. Greg told her no because cats like to eat fish. Madi has concluded that we will get a cat when all the fish die. Oh my, is she wrong. No cat for me. Payton keeps telling everyone she is getting a dog for Christmas. It's because I told her she could have a Webkinz dog for Christmas. No real dog. We are not home enough to love it.
