Finally!

Tucker's pic from our walk... very artsy. The kids are doing pushups for exercise.

It's starting to cool down here at last. I was actually able to take the kids outside this morning to play in the grass. It was quite nice in the shade. Tucker took out his dump truck and played in the rocks and Parley loved to help push the truck around. It's almost to my favorite time of year in Las Vegas. October finally becomes livable again, and we get to celebrate Tucker's birthday. He is so excited for his birthday, but tells me he will stay three forever. The other day he was crying and came to sit on my lap and we cuddled. He asked if he would cuddle with me even when he was older. He told me he would stay little forever so he could cuddle me forever. So sweet.

Parley has such a huge vocabulary. She speaks in 3 to 4 word sentences quite often. He pronunciation is still babyish, but she is a big girl. I can't believe my baby is getting so grown up. Yesterday the kids were arguing and Tucker told her she couldn't have something. Parley got a frown on her face and with her finger pointed said, "No, no Tucker!" She can stick up for herself.

Randy has started his last year of dental school. We can't believe how quickly the time has passed. He's now getting a little anxious about finishing all his competencies before graduation in April. Tucker has been asking to go on the rides at a carnival we went on last year. We told him we would go when it came back to town. We thought it would be later in the year, but when I checked it out, it's scheduled for this weekend. I can't believe it's been a year already! I've discovered another great benefit to being married to a dentist. Randy flosses my teeth for me nightly. Flossing is one of those things I've always hated to do and so did it rarely. But now he does it. Ah, the good life!

So, the weather is cooler and we are happier. Life is good.

Flossing as a means of foreplay?! Very intriguing.
